Symptoms of toenail fungus are noticeable. You can see, smell or feel the infection once it takes hold. The most observable sign is discoloration. The infected nails turn yellow, brown and may have white patches and streaks. Nail infection can also turn into a black color. There is irregularity in shape, growth and texture of the nail. It could get flaky, chipped and brittle. Also, it could become so thick that it causes pain when wearing shoes. Debris may collect under the nails and infected nails could emit a foul odor. The nails could also become separated from the nail bed. If you have any of these symptoms, then have it diagnosed by a doctor. It is important that you seek professional help right away so that you can proceed with the proper treatment. The earlier you start treatment, the easier toenail fungus will be to treat. Oral Medication Your doctor may recommend oral prescription medication. These are effective in treating toenail fungus. However, such anti fungal prescription medication is unsafe. In fact, the FDA or Food and Drug Administration issued out a public health advisory during May 2001 regarding two of the most popular prescription medications for the treatment of nail fungus. The FDA concluded that side effects such as congestive heart failure and hepatic complications occur with these therapies. Because of such high risks, it is wise to turn to safer and more natural methods in curing toenail fungus. Homemade Cures A safer method is by using home remedies. Soaking the infected nails in a fifty fifty solution of apple cider and hydrogen peroxide for 45 minutes everyday may help cure toenail fungus. Another home remedy is by using a bleach and water mix, where you soak the infected nails into the solution for about a minute for several days. However, keep in mind that these home remedies rarely work and is generally ineffective. The bleach could even irritate your skin. Relying solely on home remedies is a waste of time, making the fungus even harder to treat. Topical Treatment The best option would be to use topical solutions. In looking for a topical solution, make sure that you choose one that is made of natural ingredients such as essential oils found in plants. Because it is all natural, you are guaranteed that it is safe to use. And, don't rely on topical creams and lotions that don't get to the source of the nail fungus. There is a topical solution that actually penetrates and protects the nail so that it reaches the underlying cause of nail fungus. 378037 006 Air Jordan XI Gamma Blue Black Gamma Blue Varsity Maize ,621958 090 Air Jordan V Womens Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Air Jordan Spizike New York Knicks Blue 624041 700 Nike Air Foamposite Pro Volt Nike Kobe 9 Low EM Home Nike Kobe 9 Low EM Premium Laser Crimson Air Jordan 11 Low IE White Metallic Silver Black Air Jordan 5Lab3 Silver 656503 720 Air Jordan Future Volt White Air Jordan 5 Retro Quai 54 White Prep notebook: Libby spikers building toward big momentPrep Extra: All state scoring duo drawing state's attentionBills' Carpenter kicks way to AFC honorCoyotes wary of Griz weaponsSource: Rice elevator video sent to NFL office in AprilBitterroot Forest offers Full Moon Walk at Hamilton's Kiwanis ParkGREG TOLLEFSON: Idea of wilderness will never get oldMARK WARD: Bowhunting underway, and trout biting on HolterDeer population rebounds in southeastern MontanaOutdoors briefs for Thursday, September 11I am Scott Todd, current most junior member of the Missoula County Public Schools Board of Trustees. I was selected to join the board on Feb. 19. I'm a senior business analyst for US Bank. I test web systems. I've worked for InteI, Nike, HP and Lockheed Martin. I have a degree in computer science and an MBA. My wife and I have three kids; all went to MCPS, and two are current students. My wife's family homesteaded over 100 years ago in the Missoula Valley. I am very happy to live in Missoula and it is an honor and a privilege to serve on the school board.I have learned that it takes a heart to serve on the school board (we care about the students and teachers of the district), a thick skin (see the comments section), and a sense of humor (schools are, after all, a human enterprise). Another thing I have learned:We make mistakes. As humans, we cannot always see far enough, or think deeply enough to see all of the consequences of our decisions. We have to make decisions. If those decisions are wrong, we hope that someone will point them out in a way that we can understand and in a timely enough manner to correct. Most of the work of the school board happens in the committee meetings. There are three committees: Teaching and Learning; Finance and Operations; and Personnel, Negotiations, and Policy.I would very much like to see the five new candidates Ann Wake, Diane Lorenzen, Julie Thompkins, Michael Beers and Rose Dickson come to the committee meetings this month. The committees are very instructive, and I am learning a lot. My goal is to make sure I am on top of situations before I read about it in the paper. I want to know where our resources are going and if anyone is making claims that are erroneous or misleading. It is a considerable amount of work to be on the school board. My busiest week so far has been 16 hours in meetings plus looking at the various documents discussed or mentioned in those meetings. I have read meeting minutes, meeting proposals, school board policies, the Trustee Handbook, various budget documents, the Budget Audit, the MEA Collective Bargaining Agreement (MEA represents the faces of our schools, the teachers, counselors, special educators, and other certified professionals who teach our kids), the MMCEO Collective Bargaining Agreement, and so on. It has been eye opening and informative. I expect as I get more familiar with the district, I will spend more time with parents and teachers hearing feedback and suggestions. There are few perfect solutions. I have seen a suggestion in the Missoulian comments that we should reduce the salary portion of the budget from around 90 percent to 75 percent. To be clear, this would involve eliminating all of the administration including principals and assistant principals, plus something like two thirds of the MMCEO janitors, secretaries, lunch staff, para educators, IT techs and dozens of others who help our schools run. We cannot and would not go there. We need your help and involvement. I know it is cliche to say, but it is nevertheless true, and never more true, that the schools only run well when parents and community are involved. We are all lucky that so many committed parents and community members volunteer their time to help our kids grow up to be the best and most committed community members that they can be.I look forward to your comments and questions.Scott Todd is a member of the Missoula County Public Schools board of trustees.I agree with the last comment. How can reducing the salary portion of the budget by 15% eliminate the entire administration, who make the most money, and two thirds of everybody else on the staff. That would mean the lowest one third of the the lowest paid people, would be the only ones left, who apparently make up 75% of the current budget. How is that possible? I'm sorry, Scott, you can brag about your experience all you want, but your math doesn't add up. All it does is show that the administration part of the budget is way overloaded. This comment is just not believable, and I would like to see how you arrived at this conclusion, a 15% reduction in salaries would eviscerate the following, " To be clear, this would involve eliminating all of the administration including principals and assistant principals, plus something like two thirds of the MMCEO janitors, secretaries, lunch staff, para educators, IT techs and dozens of others who help our schools run" This is nothing more than propaganda. Women across the world are flocking to web sites and stores to snatch up every dress she dons and you'd be hard pressed to find one available. While Middleton's outfits are often off the rack and relatively affordable (at least for royalty or a celebrity), they are still a little too far out of my budget and considering that they are pretty much all sold out, it doesn't really matter. But that doesn't mean that you and I still can't get the same look by following Middleton's fashion rules. While Middleton doesn't shy away from color, she mostly chooses items that are a single color and often in jewel tones. This look is easier to achieve by wearing dresses as they tend to be the same fabric throughout, but even when she's in designer denim she tends to choose dark colors and pair them with a navy blazer. When she does pair two colors, the second color is typically black, navy or beige, which all create no fail combos. She also knows how to not go overboard and makes sure there isn't too much going on with the details. They are typically relegated to the waist, the neckline, the cuff, or the hem, but are never in all of those places on one piece.Photo Credit: Kevork Djansezian/Getty ImagesWhile we may not all have the royal jewels to choose from, we can still follow Middleton's lead when it comes to wearing jewelry. She almost always has on a pair of simple drop earrings and a thin bracelet on her right wrist (so as not to compete with that rock on her left ring finger!), but she occasionally dons a simple necklace with a pendant. And on the occasion when her dress is super simple, she'll add a lovely brooch for some added interest. When it comes to jewelry, keep it simple if you want the look of Middleton.4. Neutral ShoesPhoto Credit: Lionel Hahn WPA Pool/Getty ImagesMiddleton may be single handedly bringing back nude pumps. Neutral shoes that can be paired with multiple outfits save you money and make it easy to run out the door without having to debate which pair to wear. She is almost always spotted in heels and that certainly makes those gams looks extra fabulous. They may not be so convenient for us moms on an everyday basis but you can try a wedge heel for the same look in a more comfortable feel. Her alternative is a simple flat or a knee high boot in the fall or winter. In addition to nude (or I like gold), you'll want a go to black, navy and brown pair of shoes.5. Perfect FitMost of us fall victim to buying off the rack and wearing off the rack whether it's a perfect fit or not. Middleton's clothes fit her impeccably. Granted she has a rockin' body, and unfortunately, I can't help you with that (well, maybe I can a little), but there is no doubt in my mind that she takes everything she buys straight to the tailor to make sure they are the perfect length, shape, etc.If you've always wanted to look like a princess you can and without the big budget. Just follow Middleton's lead with these five easy steps. We'll leave finding Prince Charming up to you.

They'll dig deeper into the ground, giving you a better chance to grab onto something solid when you plant your foot. For normal to medium turf (similar to the fresh cut feel of the grass in your backyard), you'll want three quarter inch cleats. This is the length of cleat you'll wear more often than any other. For short, hard packed grass, you'll want half inch cleats or you may be better off abandoning the seven stud cleated shoe in favor of a molded rubber bottomed shoe. For artificial grass, you have three basic choices. Linemen often wear molded rubber shoes that are good on turf or grass. However, skill position players (running backs, receivers, tight ends, linebackers, defensive backs and quarterbacks) typically don't get good traction from a molded rubber bottomed shoe. On dry artificial grass, your best traction will be in turf shoes that have dozens of tiny nubs on the bottom (about one eighth of an inch long). However, some players wear cross training shoes that have a sole similar to that of a basketball shoe, but more pronounced. On wet artificial grass, your best traction will be in turf shoes that have dozens of longer nubs on the bottom (perhaps two eighths of an inch long). On wet turf, cross training shoes usually are not an option. How to Choose a Football Shoe Choosing proper football cleats is important for any football player.
